Boden Deli is a local restaurant that produces home-based 100% vegan and vegetarian food and sells it at the Farmers Market.

Its owner asked me to design a logo that invites customers to try her tasty food options, which contain oats, but mainly lentils and beans. The restaurant's menu includes among other vegan options, egg salad and omelette, sourdough bread, and cashew feta.

'Boden' is German from ground and also the owner's lastname means oats, so for her it was important to include this and other earth elements elements in her business logo.

I researched about oat seeds and leaves as well as other ingredients used in the restaurant menu. I did some sketches and the client selected her favourites.

When I did a food sample taste, I took some of the ingredients from the main meals and did a composition of the letter O from BODEN, I took a photo and included in the logo design. This option was the client's favourite's one and can be used in her food stall, signs, business cards, posters and stationery, in its two versions, full colour and black and white.
